Tips for using a "non-journaling" bible

So you want to join the fun, but don't have a "journaling bible." Don't worry, any bible can become a journaling bible! Even the smallest of margins can be used if you create more space with tip-ins (see creating your own margin post).

Another way you can make the most of your regular bible, is to go through and post-it or bookmark all the ends of books that have large spaces.

Thirdly, if you have a devotional or study bible you can journal over the notes which gives you a lot of room. You could use acrylic paint or white gesso to do this, or even glue white paper over top.

Hi, my name is Huia Yongo. I am happily married with one child. I love writing in books and love art, so bible journaling was an awesome way to help me study God's word.

I gave my life to Christ in 2012 and have never looked back. I always knew about Jesus from a young age, but until I gave my life to Christ I didn't know Him personally.
